On Wednesday, May13, 2015, at 11:00 A.M., the Committee on Small Business held a hearing titled, ​ ​Bridging the Small Business Capital Gap: Peer-to-Peer LendingThe hearing was held in Room 2360 of the Rayburn House Office Building. 

The purpose of the hearing was to examine the rise of peer-to-peer lending platforms that seek to satisfy that seek the demand for debt capital that is currently not being met by banks and other conventional lenders.
