On Wednesday, August 21, 2013, at 10:00 A.M.Central Standard Time, the Committee on Small Business held a hearing titled, Missouri River Management: Does It Meet the Needs of Small Business? The hearing was held at the St. Joseph City Hall, City Council Chamber, 1100 Frederick Avenue, Room 301, St. Joseph, MO 64501.

The purpose of the hearing was to hear from small businesses regarding which authorized purposes are most important to their economic well-being and that of rural communities and to seek small business input on potential changes to federal statutes and regulations that influence waterway management and development.
