The House Committee on Small Business will hold a hearing entitled, “The Recovery Act and Broadband: Evaluation of Broadband Investments on Small Businesses and Job Creation,”on Wednesday, October 28, 2009 at 10:00 am in Room 2360 of the Rayburn House Office Building. The Committee will review steps to advance broadband deployment through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 programs, and will analyze problems applicants are experiencing with its rollout. Witnesses from the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA), the Rural Utilities Service (RUS) and the American Cable Association will testify.
