The House Committee on Small Business will hold a hearing entitled "Small Businesses and the Estate Tax: Identifying Reforms to Meet the Needs of Small Firms and Family Farmers." The hearing will take place on Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. in Room 2360 Rayburn House Office Building.  The Committee will evaluate ways to improve current laws to ensure that small firms can continue to grow for future generations.  Witnesses will testify on issues surrounding the estate tax and their impact on family farms and small businesses.
