On Thursday, June 21, 2012, at 10:00 A.M. the Subcommittee on Investigations, Oversight and Regulations held a hearing titled Small Business Lending: Perspectives from the Private Sector. The hearing was held in Room 2360 of the Rayburn House Office Building.

The hearing addressed the regulatory burdens associated with lending to small businesses, with specific focus on the management of the Small Business Administration’s (SBA’s) financial assistance programs. SBA lending partners and other financial institutions discussed the current state of small business lending and how the SBA can improve its processes to make its programs operate more efficiently.
