Green Isn't Always Gold: Are EPA Regulations Harming Small Businesses?

On Thursday, May 12 at 10:00 am, the House Small Business Committee Subcommittee on Oversight, Investigations and Regulations held a hearing entitled Green Isn't Always Gold: Are EPA Regulations Harming Small Businesses?  The hearing took place in Room 2360 of the Rayburn House Office Building.

The purpose of this hearing was to examine Environmental Protection Agency regulations that negatively affect small business, most specifically those related to the Clean Air Act and the Resources Conservation and Recovery Act. The Subcommittee heard testimony from small business owners about how EPA has neglected to take into account the Regulatory Flexibility Act when promulgating regulations despite significant direct and indirect burdens experienced by small businesses.
