The Committee on Small Business will meet for a hearing titled, “Hiring More Heroes: A Review of SBA’s Office of Veterans Business Development.”  The hearing is scheduled to begin at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 in Room 2360 of the Rayburn House Office Building. 

The Committee will examine the United States Small Business Administration’s (SBA) Office of Veterans Business Development’s (OVBD) efforts to transition our nation’s veterans from the battlefield to the small business realm. As the majority of veteran-owned businesses are small businesses, it is crucial that veterans have the tools and resources they need to get off the ground once they return home. The hearing will examine whether the OVBD is operating efficiently and effectively to serve our nation’s veterans.
