Hearing – “Helping Small Business Innovators through the Research and Experimentation Tax Credit”

WASHINGTON- The House Small Business Committee, Subcommittee on Contracting and Technology will hold a hearing titled, “Helping Small Business Innovators through the Research and Experimentation Tax Credit” (also known as the R&D tax credit) on Thursday, July 9, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. in Room 2360 of the Rayburn House Office Building.  The Research and Experimentation Credit has always been an important supporter of technological breakthroughs and innovation. The Subcommittee will hear testimony from witnesses on how extending and improving the tax credit will support a variety of small business industries, especially during the current economic situation.
