*** MEDIA ADVISORY *** Hearing: “Meeting the Needs of Small Businesses and Family Farmers in Regulating our Nation’s Waters” WASHINGTON- The House Committee on Small Business will hold a hearing entitled, “Meeting the Needs of Small Businesses and Family Farmers in Regulating our Nation’s Waters,” on Wednesday, July 22, 2009 at 1:00pm in Room 2360 of the Rayburn House Office Building. The Committee will assess the regulatory structure of the United States’ waters and will examine the concerns of small businesses and farmers. The Committee will hear testimony from small businesses on ways to improve the federal regulation of our nation’s waterways.
