Williams & Stauber: Biden’s “Waters of the United States” Rule is Burdensome for Small Businesses

WOTUS Impact on Small Businesses

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Chairman Roger Williams (R-TX) and Rep. Pete Stauber (R-MN) issued the following statements regarding the Biden Administration’s “Waters of the United States” (WOTUS) Rule.

“The Biden Administration’s flawed WOTUS rule will harm small businesses, home builders, farmers, and ranchers across the country,” said Chairman Williams. “This rule will empower bureaucrats at the EPA to insert themselves into the decisions of countless private entities. Certainty is key for any small business and this type of regulatory overreach will be detrimental for many of our nation’s job creators.”

“Biden’s WOTUS rule creates regulatory headaches for economic drivers like farmers, ranchers, manufacturers, miners, and more. We must get Washington out of the way of our small businesses. That’s why I support efforts to overturn Biden’s burdensome WOTUS rule,” said Rep. Stauber.
