Williams Pens Letters to Government Agencies on the Impact of Rule Changes on Small Businesses

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congressman Roger Williams, Chairman of the House Committee on Small Business, issued the following statement after sending letters to U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Office of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services and the Office of Management and Budget’s Office of Federal Procurement Policy regarding various regulations and their potentially adverse impacts on small businesses.

“The impacts of the federal government’s reckless and overreaching regulatory agenda have continually fallen on the backs of small businesses across the country,” said Chairman Williams. “Given all the economic headwinds our country’s job creators are currently facing, it is imperative we are not adding to their struggles with excessively burdensome new regulations. As Chairman of the House Committee on Small Business, I’m committed to holding the Biden administration accountable for this self-inflicted harm on Main Street America.”
