Williams and Luetkemeyer Pen Letter to DOE on Rule Changes

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congressman Roger Williams (R-TX), Chairman of the House Committee on Small Business, issued the following statement after sending a letter with Vice Chairman Blaine Luetkemeyer (R-MO) to the U.S. Department of Energy regarding a new regulation and its potentially adverse impacts on small businesses.

“The federal government’s countless attempts to overburden and overregulate Main Street appears to have no end in sight,” said Chairman Williams. “While our nation’s small businesses are hard at work developing innovative new technologies, federal agencies are looking to unnecessarily drive-up costs and cause delays. Instead of increasing costs for our nation’s job creators, we should focus on enacting pro-growth policies which spur development and job creation. As Chairman of the House Committee on Small Business, I remain committed to holding the Biden administration accountable for their persistent attempts to put Main Street out of business.”
