WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congressman Roger Williams (R-TX), Chairman of the House Committee on Small Business released the following statement on the positive March 2025 Jobs Report, released by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. The U.S. economy added 228,000 new jobs in March, exceeding market expectations and nearly doubling the pace of January and February job market growth. “The American economy has been revitalized under the leadership of President Trump. For the first time in four years Main Street is hopeful, and business owners feel confident enough to hire new employees, raise wages, and invest in their businesses,” said Chairman Roger Williams. “This jobs report is proof that decreasing government bureaucracy, cutting red-tape, and prioritizing American manufacturing is what’s best for the American people and our labor market. I look forward to four more years of American-made success.” ### |
