The House Committee on Small Business Reports Five Bills Favorably to the House

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congressman Pete Stauber (MN-08), led a full Committee markup where all five bills considered were passed by the Committee. Congressman Roger Williams (TX-25), Chairman of the House Committee on Small Business, issued the following statement after today’s markup.

“The bills passed out of the Committee build on the momentum created by President Trump’s pro-business policies,” said Chairman Williams. “Members on both sides of the aisle have delivered for small businesses across America by revitalizing American manufacturing, safeguarding taxpayer dollars, and encouraging investments in rural areas and critical technology. Together, with the Trump Administration, we are ushering in the Golden Age of Main Street America.”

H.R. 2066: “Investing in All of America Act of 2025” – introduced by Rep. Dan Meuser (R-PA).

  • The bill incentivizes Small Business Investment Company programs to employ additional capital in manufacturing sectors, rural areas, and critical national defense technologies.

H.R. 4495: “SBA Fraud Enforcement Extension Act” – introduced by Rep. Downing (R-MT)

  • The bill cracks down on fraud and abuses within the SBA’s Shuttered Venue Operators Grant and Restaurant Revitalization Fund programs by extending the statute of limitations on COVID-19 era fraud and abuse to 10 years.

H.R. 4491: “SBA IT Modernization Reporting Act of 2025” – introduced by Rep. Cisneros (D-CA).
