WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congressman Roger Williams (R-TX), Chairman of the House Committee on Small Business, announced that Sean Dillon will serve as the new Staff Director for the House Committee on Small Business for the 119th Congress. “Sean brings a deep understanding of economic policy and years of experience both on Capitol Hill and at the Treasury Department,” said Chairman Williams. “His proven leadership and strong grasp of the issues affecting small businesses make him well-suited to serve as Staff Director of the Committee. I’m proud to welcome him back to my team and confident he will play a critical role in advancing our America First agenda to support Main Street.” --- Sean most recently served as Deputy Chief of Staff in Rep. Huizenga’s office. Before that, he spent two years at the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of Financial Research (OFR), where he worked as a Senior Advisor to the Director. During his time at the OFR, Sean served as the Principal Liaison for Congress and spearheaded the office’s representation on the Financial Stability Oversight Council. Prior to Treasury, Sean spent 15 years on Capitol Hill, serving in a variety of legislative roles with a specialization in financial services issues. He previously worked for Congresswoman Ann Wagner and Chairman Roger Williams. Sean served as Chairman William's Legislative Director from 2013 to 2017.
