Honoring Our Nation's Veteran-Owned Small Businesses
Small businesses make up 99.9 percent of businesses across the United States, accounting for nearly 50 percent of all American employees. The small business community is comprised of our nation's hardest working individuals. Their tireless dedication to running a small business does not go unnoticed.
In honor of National Veterans Small Business Week and Veterans Day, House Committee on Small Business Ranking Member Blaine Luetkemeyer (MO-03) hosted a Veterans Small Business Showcase and Roundtable.

During the month of November, the House Committee on Small Business is recognizing the 15 veteran-owned small businesses that participated in the Veterans Small Business Showcase and Roundtable. The veteran small business owners have served our nation in one of the highest regards and have since come home to continue supporting their communities through entrepreneurship and employing fellow veterans. These brave men and women have exemplified a resiliency unlike any other.

During the Veterans Small Business Showcase and Roundtable, Members of Congress heard directly from veteran small business owners about the challenges veteran entrepreneurs face and discussed policies to support their small businesses. House Republicans reiterated their commitment to advancing policies that empower our nation's veteran entrepreneurs and remain dedicated to providing veteran-owned small businesses with the tools they need to get back on their feet and prosper on Main Street U.S.A.
