Workplace Issues

The 116th Congress must ensure that the scope of federal workplace programs do not negatively affect a small business owners’ ability to run their businesses and manage their workforce. “One size fits all” policies, such as the “overtime” and “Volks” rules and the expanded joint employer standard, have harmed the small business owner’s ability to expand or even to open a new business.  It is important to create a climate that helps small businesses find, hire, and maintain a competitive workforce with the necessary skills for the modern economy.
