On Wednesday, April 2, 2014, the Committee on Small Business held a hearing titled, ​Bitcoin:  Examining the Benefits and Risks for Small Business. The purpose of the hearing was to examine both the benefits and the risks associated with the Bitcoin as a payment for small businesses.
