On Wednesday, June 11, 2014, at 1:00 P.M., the Committee on Small Business held a hearing titled, ​FAA's 2020 NextGen Mandate: Benefits and Challenges for General AviationThe hearing was held in Room 2360 of the Rayburn House Office Building.

The purpose of the hearing was to examine the benefits of the 2020 mandate to the General Aviation (GA) industry, challenges it may face in compliance with the mandate and the importance of incentivizing and ensuring widespread adoption.
