Yesterday, Speaker Paul Ryan signed H.R. 644, the Trade Facilitation and Trade Enforcement Act. Led by Ways and Means Committee Chairman Kevin Brady (R-TX), this legislation helps small businesses participate in global commerce by improving and updating customs laws, opening more doors and creating more jobs.

Chairman Steve Chabot and Members of the Small Business Committee have focused on trade as an area of opportunity for small businesses and entrepreneurs in this Congress, and some of that work helped shape this legislation, which is now on President Obama's desk.
