Chairman Sam Graves Discusses Small Business Uncertainty on MSNBC's "Your Business" "There is so much apprehension out there, in terms of small business"
On Sunday, Rep. Sam Graves (R-MO), Chairman of the Small Business Committee, appeared on MSNBC’s "Your Business" show to discuss the Committee’s recent hearing on small business access to capital with Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner and small business optimism.
Chairman Sam Graves: "There is so much apprehension out there, in terms of small business. They’re concerned about what their taxes are going to be when the current extensions expire, they’re concerned about what health care is going to cost them, they’re concern about regulation and some of things that agencies are implementing through regulatory authority. They’re concern about all of those things. So, what we’re seeing is that a lot of small businesses are simply holding back. They’re keeping a lot of capital in reserve and they’re not investing."
